Back button on mobile

On the mobile version, links don't generally populate history, meaning the back button doesn't work. This is very annoying if I'm doing something like reading the bios of each participant of an event in the next slot -- I have to tap a participant link, read the page, tap Programme or My Con, swipe back down to the event, and repeat the whole process with each participant.

Actually, I previously had some memory of state remain on transitions between tabs, but I had to disable that due to some performance issues. I'll have to think some more on how to keep track of the view state, and how deep to allow the history to grow.

For an alternative to going back to the full programme view each time, did you notice that the participant's own items were listed below the bio, including the one you clicked to see the bio?

Can't you do something with history.pushState? Or is that what you were using previously?

That's exactly my intent. At a most basic level, will need to encode the open items & the scroll position. The previous implementation included a document.location write for the latest open item, and that caused some unnecessary computation to happen due to an onhashchange event.
