First of all, thank you for creating Cronica. The application has one of the cleanest and most polished watchlist experiences available across the Apple ecosystem.

The combination of iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Vision Pro... along with CloudKit synchronization and release notifications makes it a fantastic solution for users who primarily want a lightweight media tracking experience.

I would like to suggest adding optional SIMKL integration as an account synchronization provider.

• Import watchlists from SIMKL
• Import completed movies and shows
• Import anime collections
• Synchronize TV episode progress
• Display SIMKL ratings
• Update watch status automatically
• Export changes back to SIMKL
• Import personal statistics

Technical Advantages

SIMKL supports multiple connected identifiers including:

• AniList
• MyAnimeList
• AniDB
• SIMKL IDs

This could help improve metadata matching while remaining compatible with Cronica's existing TMDB-based architecture.
