I have the Baofeng UV-K61, will i be able to flash this to it without possibly bricking it since its a "k6" not 5?

Don't forget first to backup the radio's eeprom/configuration options before trying to flash this firmware,

don't bother with it. it's a totally different radio and won't work with this firmware
