prefetch consistently fails on package `vsdbsled`

the problem seems to be from failing to find this <https://crates.io/crates/vsdbsled> package, even though it's in the crates.io place.

because it's listed as the top 391 package for most downloads, i can't download anything beyond that. are there any workarounds to this besides gathering individual packages?
