Description
Hi Lucio,
Thank you for working on the Rigify add-on.
In the past year, I have been busy converting people to Blender.
Blender Guide - Rigging/Weight Painting:
Blender - Common Mistakes & Tips:
The Rigify add-on is amazing and has helped me bring some old 3D models to life from the early 2000's:
There's a community of people who are using 3D models in a program called XNALara Posing Studio (XPS), and a user (NecroCainALX) from that community asked me a great question:

In case that link is broken, here is the quote:
I love your tutorials and I'm always coming back to them.
The only recurrent problem I'm having is by using Rigify armatures setups for models that already have bones/armatures by default, I've used this tutorial:
( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwb-BAUWT_I ) for XPS models since it's basically still the same concept, but rigify just seems to be such a pain to re-parent bones for me for some reason. (especially on Blender 2.8 and with face bones)Do you perhaps have any idea of another alternative to use rigify on xnalara models?
Perhaps a script or feature I haven't seen yet.
At this point I'm kinda desperate since I just have to go through the same trial and error rigging method for each model I want to rig lol.
In any case I would be willing to help you make a tutorial for that if you're interested too.
The XPS program doesn't have fancy rigging features for XPS models, so some manual work is needed to get them rigified in Blender.
I don't know what's the fastest solution currently, but I do have a .blend file with an imported XPS model that you can look at.

Download Mirror1: https://www.sendspace.com/file/mvn3mz
Download Mirror2: https://www58.zippyshare.com/v/PsyEjXh6/file.html
or you can download the XPS model itself from here:

but you will need this Blender add-on to import the model: - https://github.com/johnzero7/XNALaraMesh/releases/
It doesn't have to be only XPS, but also other rigged 3D formats: PSK, FBX, SMD, MDL, etc.
If you have some tips to speed up the rigifying process of already rigged models, we would be happy to hear it.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
