Description

In v2.5.12 version the Insert action has output message

As integrator I want to see the data of newcreated object, so I can proceed with it throught the flow

This improvement cannot be implemented reliably for a generic JDBC component because JDBC itself does not guarantee that an INSERT operation returns the newly created row data.

If the table:

• has no primary key,
• has no unique constraint,
• or allows duplicate rows,

then after insertion there is no reliable way to identify which exact row was just created. Performing an additional SELECT query may return multiple identical rows or even the wrong row in concurrent environments.

Example:

INSERT INTO users(name, age) VALUES ('Alex', 25);

If multiple identical rows exist:

('Alex', 25)
('Alex', 25)

The component cannot determine which one belongs to the current insert operation.

Because of this, automatically returning the full created object after INSERT is technically unreliable and cannot be implemented consistently across all JDBC-supported databases.
