I’d like to take a first pass at a day-ahead (DAM) price parser for Electricity Maps (not RTM for now).

I saw you’re already scraping DAM data back to 2022 — that’s really valuable, and I don’t want to race or re-do work you’ve already done.

Would you be open to any of the following?

Sharing a small sample of your schema / a few days of dumps (CSV/JSON is fine), or
Collaborating on the parser (happy to open a draft PR and iterate with you), or
Pointing at the endpoint(s) you’re hitting if they’re more stable than the public pages

Even a short note on how you’re getting historical data would help a lot.

Quick findings so far

Public provisional unconstrained DAM MCP/MCV is available as a simple HTML table (no auth) at:
https://iexrtmprice.com/view-dam-provisional-mcv-and-mcp-data/
That page currently publishes next delivery day 15‑min blocks (MCP in ₹/MWh) — good enough for a live day-ahead feed.
Full historical UI on https://www.iexindia.com/market-data/day-ahead-market/market-snapshot looks more heavily client-side / bot-protected, so your ongoing scrape may be the better path for backfill.

Question for maintainers

For zone keys: should we start with a single national unconstrained MCP on IN, or also map it to the regional zones (IN-NO / IN-WE / IN-SO / IN-EA / IN-NE)? Unconstrained DAM MCP is one national series; constrained/zonal prices (if we want those later) would be a separate step.

I’ll open a minimal PR for the live provisional DAM feed + fixtures once ready, and leave historical backfill open for collaboration. Happy to pause or adjust if anyone is already mid-implementation.
