iOS falls asleep due to inactivity during Element Call

Steps to reproduce

1. Start the call via Element Call with someone
2. Keep speaking / listening, without touching your phone (iPhone, any model)
3. The screen get locked; quite often - that also leads to the call being disrupted - so have to re-connect.

Outcome

What did you expect?

Either or both:

1. The call to keep screen from locking
2. The call to handle that event.

What happened instead?

1. The screen is locked
2. Quite often, the call got disrupted

That is correct - yes, the device falls asleep due to inactivity during the conversation. And that leads to loosing audio connectivity most often then not (not 100% as it seems).

But I expect this to be possible to be done in the webview (yt in a webview can prohibit my phone from sleeping)

I don't think we ever added it and searching the codebase, the display sleep timer (setIdleTimerDisabled) is only used for voice messages.

We can easily set it up to work for ElementCall too but seeing as this is cross platform we should probably first try the Wake Lock API, see if that's an option.

I tried on a call for 40mn, and I couldn't reproduce.
I tried also in PIP mode.
I tried with camera and voice disabled...

(iPhone, any model)

It's working on mine, iPhone XR
