Steps to reproduce

1. Where are you starting? What can you see?
   I signed in after getting kicked out by Matrix token becoming inactive at random, possibly only in Element Web. matrix-authentication-service#4436. I can't remember quite what I did - I think I refreshed, was prompted for my passphrase and provided it, but not 100% certain here.

Anyway, I only just noticed that my session thinks it is the one true session and all my other devices are unverified.

I'll pu t more in here but I'm late for a meeting and I want an issue to attach logs to 😬
