element x does not call in fdroid version 26.02-26.03

Steps to reproduce

Version 26.0 calls work fine, after updating via fdroid, when you press the call button, a call browser element appears asking for a name, and then an error. I sent logs with this topic

I use Android 8 with microG and the application works fine. The call functions do not work on my device either (since version 26.03.0) — I read it about the investigation here, plus this case is being worked on at pull request 6304.

Can't even login, because it falls with "Error" in few seconds after call browser appears...

AI says that: Element Call should then send a second POST including auth: { type: "m.login.dummy", session: "..." } to complete registration.
But it does not

Also I have the same issue at Huawei an Techno devices without Google services. Looks that is the same issue as #6298, but Autor closed it without any comments or fix. There is no fix at this time - commit with "fix" #6304 was unmerged.
An issue was discovered in a parallel thread with the Google Android Webview system component - old version installed on non-gs devices (version 147.x vs 114.x), with comment "try to update by this link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.webview". But in my case - that is not working. I found next - if you install an app with GBOX - updating Webview does not helps. @bmarty may be you have any comments about this?

The latest version, 04/26/02, released today also does not solve anything, I think due to the small percentage of devices, this complexity simply cannot be solved.

Faced the same error on Huawei Nova 14, tried installing another WebView, but OS didn't let me choose it, tried re-compiling app with https://github.com/JonaNorman/WebViewUpgrade but still no luck (failed to override WebView, some problems in the library or with my hands)

@bestperson-free what is the last known working version of element x that didn't have this bug?

You won't update webview on Huawei, latest version is 26.03.0
