Remote read receipts fail to dismiss local notifications/badges

Steps to reproduce

Receive a message on Element X 26.03.3 (202603030) so the notification triggers on Android. Read the message on a different client, such as Element 1.12.11 using Rust SDK 0.16.0 (82e97d4) and Vodozemac 0.9.0. Observe the notification tray and app badge on the Android device.

Outcome

The notification and badge count persist on the Android device. Remote read receipts fail to trigger the dismissal of local notifications. The notification state only updates after a manual app launch. Waiting for multiple days does not result in an automatic disappearance.

Thanks, but this is a duplicate of #1998. The feature is still missing since sliding sync makes it harder to implement than just using a plain /sync and we need proper support from it in the Rust SDK.
