Dock does not always show when expected

What Happened?

I have the "Hide when focused window overlaps dock" setting active. When there is a focused window large enough to overlap the dock (but not contiguous with the bottom edge or maximised), which there usually is, moving the pointer down to the bottom edge sometimes reveals the dock as expected but usually doesn't.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Select setting as above
2. Focus a window that overlaps the dock
3. Try to access the dock with the pointer.

Expected Behavior

It is very annoying not being able to access the dock when desired (especially with no keyboard access). Pointer pressure on the bottom edge should always reveal the dock, certainly when there is a gap between the bottom edge and the window.

Are you using early access version?

Installed from elementaryos-8.0-daily-amd64.20250909.iso and kept updated. It is installed on a VM though.

There's a pressure reveal now, maybe the trigger threshold is too big for you and it seems like the dock doesn't show?

Just updated again and rebooted but still not pressure revealing. Strangely typing "pressure" into settings search gives a link to the DOck & Panel settings but there is no pressure reveal setting there. Is there suppose to be? I cannot adjust the sensitivity through Settings it seems.

Also noticed that you cannot show the Dock using a Hot Corner either (no option to do so), but I guess that's intentional.

Functional pressure-reveal would fix this issue though.
