Swiping in the multitasking view can close applications #2199

@wpkelso

Description

@wpkelso

What Happened?

Swiping between workspaces in multitasking view will sometimes close applications present within those workspaces if the pointer is hovered over them

--Edit--
After running all updates, the behavior has become whenever a "brush" swipe action occurs anywhere to do with the multitasking view (although not if switch between workspaces without using multitasking view)

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open multitasking view with multiple workspaces active
  2. Place the cursor over an application window (does not have to be over the close button
  3. Do a quick horizontal 3-finger swipe, lifting off the touchpad before the animation has finished
  4. Repeat 3 until an application window gets closed (seems to happen more often when quickly swiping between workspaces)

--Edit--

  1. Enter or navigate multitasking view using any swipe motion that does not maintain contact with the touchpad all the way through the motion & animation

Expected Behavior

Application windows don't close in multitasking view unless I specifically press the "x" button to close the window.
