Failure animation isn't fluid like the greeter's

What Happened

When the dialogue fails to auth, it only seems to do a frame-by-frame movement back and fourth rather than the fluid motion the greeter card has when it fails.

Expected Behavior

The dialogue animates fluidly

Steps to Reproduce

1. execute pkexec apt update in Terminal
2. press enter without entering password
