Window behavoir under Wayland inconsistent amongst apps

What Happened?

I've got EoS v8.0 running on this Dell XPS 13 9333 laptop that I'm typing on.

Just realized that I was operating in classic mode and switched to secure mode (Wayland).

I'm finding that the Patheon Tweak for Window Control Layout, which I've got set to Windows, works on a subset of the apps that I use.

Here is a list

All installed as Flatpaks except:

Steps to Reproduce

Install Pantheon Tweks
Set "Window Control Layout" to "Windows"

Expected Behavior

All apps would display per the chosen seletion in Panthoen Tweaks

This repo is only for the pantheon-wayland library that our apps (e.g. wingpanel, portals) use to interact with gala with additional wayland protocols so transferring.

Changing layout is not an officially supported feature, more of a tweak that one can do.

Pantheon-Tweaks is a third party application. It is the one actually doing anything here, on unsupported features

Likely there wont be a fix in Pantheon because it isnt part of Pantheon and its design. But i can share some ways to tweak this:
One can force possibly for some of these apps using an override for GTK:
Try adding to the following files:
~/.config/gtk-4.0/settings.ini
~/.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini

The following lines:

[Settings]
gtk-decoration-layout=:minimize,maximize,close

This will supersede any settings to force this layout, all the time, always, for anything that relies on this
for Brave, it is pretty much Firefox, so just like Firefox it uses a toolkit you cant really force
for VLC one may have a chance looking for changing layout in QT applications, but i dont know how that works.
Im not sure what some of those apps uses, but if electron, then the above should be enough.

I think I'm done with EoS.
