Variable playback speeds

Having the ability to select different playback speeds would be very welcome.

Problem

Most modern video players and services offer the ability to select different playback speeds. This is helpful for reducing the time it takes to watch a video, or alternately slowing things down when called for.

Proposal

Add a playback speed option under the settings gear icon.

Going through school videos, this is a very needed feature. It would be great to fly through a lecture video on 2x speed.
