I've been using Book Catalogue for ages and love it! But I've noticed a higher than usual surge of error messages while scanning books. I typically use the Zxing Scanner but noticed it with the native Android camera scanner interface as well.
I only see a glimpse of the error message before it vanishes, but it's something akin to, "Search failed while searching book-catalogue, no ISBN [number] exists." But then the screen shifts to a partial version of the book I was scanning, always with the scanned ISBN filled in. Most of the time it even captures the thumbnail and title of the book, though almost never the list price. I end up having to fill out quite a few fields manually, but it's not the same as the search actually failing.
Most recent culprits: Ultimate X-Men Vol. 8, Marvel 1602, The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl Vol. 1-5. I do note these are all graphic novels with ISBNs, so maybe that's the issue?
I'm using version 7.0.5-distplay on a Samsung Galaxy S9. If I need to provide any other details to help, let me know.
