Unless I have a faulty memory, DXWrapper has basically been my go to by itself for testing out Nosferatu in all different sorts of ways with AlphaYellow's widescreen fix. I had intended for it to be my next game showcase for the AA documenting. I also don't recall needing more than those 3 options.
But as of trying again the other day, While I get over 2000fps in the main menu? Once I get fully in game the performance drops hard to 15fps while looking straight forward at the castle, courtyard grounds and so on. Turn around? Bumps up to 60. Throw in DXVK? Bumps back up to over 140 but with missing graphical effects (AA isn't on in DXWrapper) and I don't recall ever actually needing DXVK before except for just to check what increased performance might be. Went back to earlier official DXWrapper releases and it still drops. I thought the newest widescreen update from AlphaYellow might be the issue but removing DXWrapper only bumped it back up to over 100 stably. Without the widescreen fix and just using Windowed it goes from 15 to 24fps and in between 70-80 when turning around and between 30is to 40 when looking around the sides. dgvoodoo2 also plays fine. Does that still point to an NVIDIA graphical driver issue? Because that was my first instinct when it happened much like with that freak Midnight Club II moment but the other tests would indicate otherwise. I'm on latest 610.88
Should I follow up with logs still? Would you get a performance indicator from it?
