Despite being unable to be shipped else than in an outdated format, indicators are an amazing way for people to contribute and enhance elementaryOS

Shipping a boilerplate for wingpanel indicators could encourage trying out and doing easily small applets this way

Yes and no. I was thinking of said sample, but it is a lone vala file and its meson.
If there is an app that does the whole tree and prep for an eOS app, it may as well offer to do one for an indicator as well - was my line of thinking
Im not too sure if i get the time to do that, but at the very least the idea is here.
