Feature Request: Set reminder time

First, I would like to thank the dev team for making this app. Finally, a real sticky note for my desktop 😃 And with nice colour too!

I would like to request for a reminder feature. A simple way to set a date and time for a note, allowing it to pop up as a reminder.

Im not sure about adding such a feature for Jorts. It would need quite a few changes, and tbh id rather have Jorts be focused on being simple looking and focused on sticky notes.
Adding too much stuff risks it losing its appeal as a neat simple app doing one thing very well - and i want also to have the code be as lean as it can be to make sure it takes as little resources as gtk4 allows it to

BTW, I still think that a simple reminder function in Jorts would be useful. I'm not proposing recurring or complete reminder function like in Reminduck, but just a simple function to have a note window move to the top at a specific date/time. Let's imagine a use case like this: you call me at 10:00 asking for some information and I promise to call you back at 16:00. I jot down the details in Jorts at set a reminder time to 16:00 and continue with my work. Then at 16:00, that note pop up to the top, reminding me to call you. After calling you, I just discard the note.

The original author gave me their blessing and transferred it to me actually :) and yes, flathub is planned! (I pushed today a new manifest for it)

I wanna have the option to do a quack sound too. Thats like the only feature i want to change

Do you have an idea for how it could look like ? A sketch on paper?
You make me think it could be some kind of pseudo-markup thing, where you write like

@remind!16:00@

And the app detects it. Though on wayland there is no way to move a window at top. Itd be a notification.

But then it is redundant with calendar apps, reminduck, etc...

EDIT How would you feel about the ability to create a prefilled note from the commandline? Where you specify title, content, etc

This way you could set a reminder with Bash and/or cron, and have it move on top when needing to remind you

I think of something much simpler, something like this screenshot taking from Google Keep:

Would closing and reopening a window raise them to the top on Wayland? I see Sanebrake can create a window on the top, so I think there might be a way? But IMO, if it cannot be implement by raising window to the top, then this shouldn't be done. To me, using notification seems weird for a sticky note.

It would be cool to have this ability 🤩 I think it will allow many more use cases.
