Updating the app manually is becoming a hassle, and every time we share the download link it's to a specific version. People are lazy and they never check the latest release unless you ask them to.
Describe the solution you'd like
The app should be able to self-update or detect when a new version is released. This is supported by Tauri https://tauri.app/v1/guides/distribution/updater but it might require an external API endpoint to fetch the versions.
