Location-based problem reporting

e.g. for sinks/toilets we want "out of toilet paper", "broken unit" etc.; for DKs we might want "cable to be plugged/unplugged", "connectivity issues"

So there are a few options here:

• Fixed locations, fixed options, no free text entry (e.g. for free-text, please email contact@emfcamp.org or whatever)
• Fixed locations, fixed options + other
• Suggested locations + pin drop, fixed options + other

I kinda prefer the first option and just have people email in about other problems, because it makes it easier to just leave the list of problem reports public (or at least not-very-locked-down), and means we can have DK runners etc. prioritise DKs which need attention. We could possibly have the "I have responded to this problem" be guarded behind a group (or maybe just behind going through volunteer signup?)

How about option 2, but the "other" free text box just sends an email to info@ or whatever with the location. Better to have stuff reported than not.

This could also be helpful for incident reports / situations that need people to muster to (although then we're possibly dipping into views/permissions, unless you can not-quite-drop a pin and copy the location to send to others?)

I don't think we want an unmoderated messaging system. We could add an option that gives guidance on contacting conduct/site/stage/duty manager, though.

Yeah, I'd have thought we don't want any urgent/safety-critical issues reported through this - in fact we should probably make that clear on the reporting page

I prefer fixed locations (by QR code on each piece of kit) and a list of problems "out of toilet paper" "no power" or whatever, possibly with "Other" and a short text field. Don't let people write essays, it will just lead to information overload. c3bottles is a good starting point for sure

I don't particularly see a need for map pins either, as it will require someone to triage the problems to a specific team.
