AnimeShin is an unofficial AniList companion application designed to manage anime and manga lists.
The developer does not operate backend servers and does not collect personal user data.
AnimeShin does NOT collect or transmit personal information to the developer.
All preferences, settings, and cached data remain locally on the user’s device.
When logging in, the app uses AniList OAuth authentication.
AnimeShin never receives or stores your AniList password.
Only an access token provided by AniList is stored locally on your device.
AniList processes account data according to their own policy: https://anilist.co/terms
The application can optionally interact with third-party services configured by the user.
Connections are made directly from the user’s device to those services.
The developer does not proxy, monitor, log, or modify this traffic.
These services may receive standard technical information such as:
- IP address
- user agent
- request headers
Examples include:
- AniList
- Shikimori
- User-configured extensions
AnimeShin does not provide or distribute media content.
The built-in player only opens media supplied by external services chosen by the user.
Extensions and external services are not created, maintained, or controlled by the developer.
The developer is not responsible for third-party content accessed through the application.
The application itself contains no analytics or tracking systems.
The app does not knowingly collect data from children.
Users can:
- log out at any time
- clear local data
- revoke AniList access via AniList account settings
