yes, this is a common way some users approach this and I'm sure there are examples of how to do this in GitHub discussions somewhere. |

Hey there, im very new to controlling my heating system via EMS. I just got a GB162 with a 35kw burner and a rc35 remote which is installed to the main unit. I dont understand the controlling... when i set the "Vorlauftemperatur" to a higher value... the burner starts but it will turn off after 5-10 minutes because the vaulues reset. Is there a reason for the values ot reset? do i need to set the water and heating switches to "auto"? and turn off the RC35 remote controll unit? i dont have any internal temperature sensors.. only one which is externally and connected to the main unit (or maybe rc35 i dont know). I just wanted to test out manual controlling... in germany .... its getting cold soon :D... If i turn the knob for heating to lets say 80°C nothing is starting up.. only the heating pump... but the boiler does not start up. I dont know where to set the start point... external temperature was below 15°C at the moment i tried.
Is there a way to emulate a room thermosthat with the openems (bbqkees module) without physically connecting a new sensor to the heating unit or ems unit? so that i can send it via mqtt? and install a zigbee temperature sensor in a room where i want?
