RSS autodiscovery: /blog/ is not recognised by RSS readers even though /blog/rss.xml is a valid feed. Add an RSS autodiscovery link to the blog page head, e.g. <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="PostGuard blog" href="/blog/rss.xml">, so feed readers pointed at /blog/ discover the feed. /dobby

This agent looked into this. The blog lives in postguard-website (postguard-business has no blog), and the RSS autodiscovery <link> was already present on /blog/ and the blog post pages (added in encryption4all/postguard-website#149) — it's live on staging now, so the /blog/ case works. This issue was filed about a day after that merged, so the original report was probably a staging-deploy lag.

The real remaining gap: the autodiscovery link existed only on blog pages, so a reader pointed at the root domain postguard.eu (or any non-blog page) found no feed. Fix opened to make the feed discoverable site-wide:

Since closing keywords don't work across repos, this issue can be closed manually (or transferred to postguard-website) once that PR merges and staging redeploys.

Cycle-2 review done — all cycle-1 blockers are resolved on postguard-website#262:

• Playwright regression test added () — asserts exactly one autodiscovery link on , , , and a post page
• Stale skeleton deleted
• PR body corrected
• Build, svelte-check, lint, and Playwright (4/4) all green

I've signed off on the PR and flipped it from draft → ready. One minor nit: the CI workflow doesn't run npm run test yet — I don't have workflows permission to add that job, so a maintainer would need to wire it in.

Once #262 merges and staging redeploys, this issue can be closed manually (cross-repo closing keywords don't work on GitHub).

The RSS autodiscovery fix lives in the blog repo — postguard-website#262 — since that's where /blog/rss.xml and the marketing layout actually live. The PR moves the autodiscovery <link> into the site-wide layout head, removes the now-duplicate per-page links, and adds a Playwright regression test. All CI checks are green (Svelte Check, Lint, Build, Conventional Commit, Docker) and it's been reviewed and signed off — ready to merge.

One heads-up: GitHub's cross-repo closing keywords don't work, so once #262 merges you'll need to close this issue manually.
