The tab choosing between thunderbird and outlook is unclear. Users do not realise they are buttons that can be clicked to switch from one to the other.

Suggestion:
Make two big buttons making people choose which one they want. Then once they choose either one, show the instructions for that specific addon.

Dobby is on it! Dobby will make the addon tabs into big clickable buttons so users see them clearly! Dobby will also make sure no conflicts with other helpers!

This issue duplicates #170 and is already addressed by PR #192, which redesigns the addon tabs as clear pill-shaped clickable buttons (segmented control with hover/active states, ARIA role=tablist/tab, and larger icons).

Updated PR #192's body so it now closes both #170 and this issue on merge. No new PR was opened — a competing one would just conflict with the in-flight work.

Resolved by #204 (consolidated addon install-doc, i18n & UI fixes). The original sub-PR for this issue was rolled into that consolidation, but the closing keyword didn't propagate, so closing manually.
