Findings

Last three merged PRs: #202, #203, #204 (all consolidations per dobby#53).

PR #202 used Closes #185, #186, #187, #188, #200 — those are PR numbers, but GitHub closed them as issues anyway (they were already closed PRs). The underlying issues those sub-PRs targeted (#180-#184) were already CLOSED — likely closed manually or by the sub-PRs.

PR #203's sub-PRs targeted issues #162, #163, #167 — all already CLOSED.

PR #204's sub-PRs targeted these issues, none of which had been closed because the consolidation PR body didn't list closing keywords for them:

• Addon page #160, Add instructions for people with domains that do not support custom addins #161, Language on initial load is not always correct #164, The instructions for outlook in dutch are wrong. #165, the aka.ms/olksideload should open in a new tab #166, The outlook text has the wrong filename #169, Dutch Outlook installation instructions use incorrect labels #171, Add instruction to restart Outlook during installation #172 (this one)

All eight have now been closed with a reference to #204.

Recommendation

When opening consolidation PRs, the body should include Closes #N for every underlying issue (not just the sub-PR numbers), so merging auto-closes them. See pr-close-issue-keywords in the bot's memory.
