Hello everyone,
I'm currently experiencing some issues with my Quickshell setup on Arch Linux after migrating from ML4W. I have already cleaned up almost all ML4W-related files and configurations before installing End-4 dots, but some things don't seem to work as expected.
Password Input Rendering ("OOOOO") My password input field displays "OOOOOO" instead of the standard bullet/dots. I am using the default Google Sans Flex as configured in the Interface settings.
Sussy Wallpaper Toggle Not Working I tried to enable the "Hide Sussy Wallpaper" option in the Settings GUI, but it doesn't seem to hide them from the selection. It feels like the GUI is not correctly "syncing" with the shell.
Quickshell Path/Config Error When I try to run quickshell in the terminal to debug, I get the following error: Could not find "default" config directory or shell.qml in any valid config path.
It turns out my config is located at ~/.config/quickshell/ii/shell.qml. When I run it manually using quickshell -c ii, I see several service warnings:
- Notifications/Polkit: Already registered (conflict with previous agents?).
- QML Errors: Cannot call mapFromItem before item is a member of a window.
Does anyone know how to properly re-sync the Quickshell configuration so the GUI settings (like the sussy toggle and font changes) take effect? And how can I fix the password character rendering without losing the Google Sans aesthetics?
Thank you for your help!
