In the Ente Auth Desktop app, I noticed that my MFA codes aren't working, but the MFA codes from the mobile app work just fine. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the desktop app, but the same issue is occurring. |

Check the time in your desktop. the totp algorithm uses the current time as an input (along with a seed), so will give the wrong output if your system is not feeding it the correct time. |

Thanks for this! It's working correctly for me now after I switched NTP servers. I think the devs should either add an alert banner if your clock is out of sync, or provide you a field to specify a custom NTP server of your choice to make sure your codes are always up-to-date. |
