Email Address Privacy

An email address is currently the main identifier when managing a family plan or sharing a photo album with others.

Some people might prefer not to share their email address with others. For example, if I create a social group on Meetup.com and I decide to use Ente to manage photos, others may not be comfortable with sharing their email address. If I'm not mistaken, someone with access to a photo album can also see the email addresses of every other viewer/collaborator. An email address is a common entry in data leaks which can lead to people's full names, addresses and other sensitive information being compromised.

For a service that's big on privacy, I think this is a big issue that should be addressed for safety reasons. Please consider how users can interact with other users without an email address needing to be shared.
