Adoption of Ente Auth for Indian banks and government

The Indian RBI has published new guidance (Authentication mechanisms for digital payment transactions) to mandate more secure 2FA alternatives to replace SMS OTP for financial transactions. The enforcement deadline is April 2026.

Is it possible to encourage/recommend adoption of standardized offline TOTP like Ente Auth for banks and other financial institutions?
