Ente Photos on Android shows filesizes as multiple of 1024 using SI prefixes. MB in Ente Photos means 1024³ bytes and not 1000³ bytes. Android itself i.e. the file manager uses the prefixes in accordance to SI units. So MB (Megabyte) means exactly one million bytes. I don't care how Ente reports filesizes on Windows but on Android, macOS and Linux kB, MB, GB etc. represent metric values, so apps on these systems should respect this.
