Ente Photos background sync

When I use Ente Photos 1.12.31 on my Xiaomi, if battery optimization is enabled (a fairly aggressive mode), background syncing works, but not in normal/balanced mode (standard mode).

This is problematic because I have to open the app at the end of the day/week to check that the sync has finished.

I checked the settings on your website to try and resolve this issue and configured the following options:

• Battery > No restrictions for Ente: enabled

• Permissions (camera + media): enabled

• Remove permission if the app is not in use: disabled

• Suspend app activity: disabled

• Start in background: enabled

• Ente Photos is locked (this is not password protection):

Lock apps (Performance Optimization)
This option, available in the performance settings, prevents certain apps from closing when you close background apps. => Access: Open the Security app > Settings (top right) > Performance Optimization > Lock apps.
