(Linux Desktop) Requesting Authentication Hanging

Description

When right clicking on an a code to edit, trash, get QR code, or share, nothing happens. The logs indicate

[AuthUtil][INFO] [2026-03-09 02:00:13.649431] Requesting authentication

but no action follows. Right click on pin or add tag does work. Presumably only actions that require authentication are failing.

Environment:

• enteauth: Linux Desktop 4.4.15
• Linux Kernel: 6.17.0-14-generic
• Linux Distro:

Attempted Remediation:

I've tried on multiple versions going back to 4.0.0 with no change in behavior. Please let me know if there's anything more I can provide. I'd love to use enteauth, but this of course is a pretty big blocker.

@adam-stamand Yes this issue has been coming up repeatedly and we are aware of it. This issue will be fixed in next release.
Till that time if possible could you switch to use the pin/password lock to avoid getting stuck edit/trash screens

@AmanRajSinghMourya ah apologies if this is a dupe then! I'm actually unable to enable App Lock for the same reason (assuming that's how I'd switch to use pin/password).

But no sweat, I'll wait out the fix and report back here to confirm the fix; many thanks for taking care of it!
