I maintain my own Gentoo Overlay https://github.com/arran4/arrans_overlay

And I have a script to update the ebuild with the latest version of ente-auth:

However I frequently get signature or filesize issues which I need to manually fix. This is possibly because you're silently replacing the binary? arran4/arrans_overlay#250 (comment)

What is the process, how often should I expect it? Or can the release process be changed? (Can you provide an ebuild?)

There is a process I can adopt to handle this and that's rc bumping my ebuilds.
