[ui] Investigate, if applicable, persist local user credentials in embedded ui

• Currently, after the user had logged in via a local user to the embedded ui, a refresh will return them back to the cluster list page and they have to log in again
• We should see if there is a simple and safe way to store user credentials locally
• We could do this in local / session storage... but this isn't secure
• See epic [UI] Embedded - Fix Authentication #129 for additional tasks
