<p>Hail! Prosperity! This is also a copy of an old stone. <supplied reason="subaudible">This is</supplied> the 11th regnal year of king Māṟañcaṭaiyaṉ <gap reason="lost" extent="unknown" unit="character"/> For Mahādeva <gap reason="lost" extent="unknown" unit="character"/> for a sacred lamp, <supplied reason="subaudible">he</supplied> gave 30 <foreign>kaḻañcu</foreign> of pure fire-tested gold; with the interests of this <supplied reason="subaudible">gold</supplied>, having measured <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>aḷantu</foreign></supplied> for the priests of the temple <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>taḷi-aṟccipāṟku</foreign></supplied> <gap reason="lost" extent="unknown" unit="character"/> four <foreign>uḻakku</foreign> and <supplied reason="subaudible">one</supplied> <foreign>uḻakku</foreign> <gap reason="lost" extent="unknown" unit="character"/> with a ladle <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>muḻaiyāl</foreign>?</supplied> for a <supplied reason="subaudible">measure called</supplied> <foreign>piḻaiyānāḻi</foreign> <gap reason="lost" extent="unknown" unit="character"/> perpetual lamp <gap reason="lost" extent="unknown" unit="character"/></p><p><supplied reason="subaudible">This is</supplied> a copy of an old stone; since it is engraved <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>veṭṭinamai-yil</foreign></supplied> completely <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>ēṟa</foreign></supplied> on this sacred sanctuary <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>śrīvimāṉa</foreign></supplied>, since there is no <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>illāmaiyil</foreign></supplied> use <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>ubhaiyogam</foreign></supplied> for the separate stones <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>taṉi-k-kal-l-āl</foreign></supplied> which were lying engraved <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>veṭṭi-kiṭanta</foreign></supplied> with this previous text <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>muṉ-ṉ-i-vājagam</foreign></supplied>, that has been removed <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>tavittatu</foreign> for <foreign>tavirttatu</foreign></supplied>. If this <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>itu</foreign></supplied> is deficient <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>muṭṭ-il</foreign></supplied>, the Paṉmāheśvaras will obtain <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>peṟṟār</foreign></supplied> and carry out <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>kaṭai-k-kūṭṭa</foreign></supplied>.</p></div>
