It records that the king Aḻakaṉ Perumāl Kulaśekhara, who calls Arikesari Parākrama Pāṇḍya his brother (or cousin, <foreign>aṇṇāḻvi</foreign>) seeing that  the work undertaken by the latter remained incomplete, caused the superstructure of the <foreign>gopura</foreign> to be finished with brick. This prince Kulaśekhara has been taken as brother or cousin, of Arikesari, in the General Introduction.</quote></p></summary>
