For those using promethous and other stats gathering tools, plotman status provides a lot of good information about what platman is tracking.
One thing missing, that would be valuable is to be able to track plotman interactive's reason for not starting another plot.
no eligible temp dirs, stagger, global max, etc..
Suggestion for this would be to be able to execute plotman interactive-status or have plotman interactive update some kind of status file.
Other option would be for plotman to support exporting full status to a file that can be picked up by node exporter text collector.

Here's a part of what I have for trying to understand plotting performance. Much of this is data from plotman status.

I could possibly contribute this part with some guidance on how best to integration this in the existing design.
