in early <em>2026</em>.

<em>Stereoelectroencephalography</em> is a minimally-invasive neurological surgical procedure that
allows for intracranial monitoring (recordings from the brain’s surface or deep within the brain).
The implantation of electrodes during stereoelectroencephalography is performed using
<a href="https://www.zimmerbiomet.com/en/products-and-solutions/zb-edge/robotics/rosa-brain.html" target="_blank" title="robotic assistance">robotic assistance</a>.

My stereoelectroencephalography was done by the Penn Medicine
<a href="https://www.pennmedicine.org/departments-and-centers/neurosurgery" target="_blank" title="Department of Neurology">Department of Neurosurgery</a>
in order to more closely determine the source of my
<a href="https://www.pennmedicine.org/conditions/epilepsy" target="_blank" title="epilepsy">epilepsy</a>.
</p>
<p>
I had thirteen (13) electrodes, each with twelve (12) sensors, temporarily implanted into the
right side of my brain, to monitor any seizure activity while in-patient for five (5) days at the their highly sophisticated
<a href="https://www.pennmedicine.org/specialties/comprehensive-epilepsy-center/epilepsy-monitoring-unit" target="_blank">Epilepsy Monitoring Unit</a>.

neurosurgeons, nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, physician assistants, researchers, pharmacists,
nutritionists, custodians, social workers, case managers, as well as facilities, security, and
