[help] javascript not work at dev mode at mobile phone with latest chrome browser

when start with npm run dev, the web page appear fine, but the javascript seems not to be working in my Android(v4.0.4) mobile phone with latest chrome browser.

However, it's fine at desktop browser or production mode.

anyone help me? is it caused by webpack config or babel ? i am not familar with both.

Your phone is probably trying to connect to localhost as opposed to your computer's IP address. You should be able to view your site on mobile if instead of running npm run dev, you try API_HOST=11.16.214.225 HOST=11.16.214.225 npm run dev where 10.16.214.225 is your IP address. Look at #801 (comment)

I have experienced same issue, that is when I am trying to access site from mobile phone in my local network there is only html markup (presumably javascript is not working) which is not the case when I build for production and run with npm start.

Yup--when you need to access from non-localhost, you'll have to modify some things to make it accessible. @chenkaiC4, were you able to test out?

@jgibbons thanks for your suggestion. After following your advice, set the start command to API_HOST=192.168.1.100 HOST=192.168.1.100 npm run dev, this super starter kit works fine at my mobile device.

@quicksnap i did't modify any thing, and just set the API_HOST and HOST to fix the problem.
Should i try a another way to work it out?
