Integrate ESGF pages in preparation for migration to ESGF workspace

The ESGF XC endorses this site to replace the ESGF site however there is content there that should be integrated here.
We could create create additional info categories. Most pages are already in Markdown.
Some mechanism to post "news"-like updates would be helpful to capture what is on the index.html page.
