Looks like sites in Europe/AU now have a handful of empty projects. These are US-centric ones, eg. E3SM, DRCDP, CREATE-IP

Describe the solution you'd like

The most straightforward solution would be an exclude projects list setting that could omit some from projects dropdown. Easier than scrubbing from the db

Describe alternatives you've considered

If the site builds locally, then the projects file could be edited with the unnecessary projects removed. Can this work for image pulls if the code isn't relevant? The list would be a better approach
