Wget Script Error When Generating CMIP6 Download Script

Describe the bug

When trying to generate a wget script from my cart on the ESGF CMIP6 portal, I get an error:

Wget Script Error
Could not perform operation at the ESGF wget API service. Please contact support

No wget script is generated, and I cannot download the selected files.

Desktop:

OS: macOS Sonoma Version 14.1.1
Browser and Version: Google Chrome Version 140.0.7339.133

To Reproduce

1. Log into the ESGF CMIP6 portal (https://esgf-node.ornl.gov/).
2. Search amip-p4K, amip, BCC-CSM2-MR, ts,ps, rsus, rsds, rlut, ta, hus, Amon, r1i1p1f1
3. Add files to the cart.
4. Click “Generate Wget Script.”
5. See the error message:
   Wget Script Error
   Could not perform operation at the ESGF wget API service. Please contact support

Expected behavior

The wget script should be generated successfully so that I can download the selected CMIP6 files.

I have tried logging out and back in, using different browsers (Chrome, Safari), and selecting fewer files, but the problem persists.
