AMNVOLT ATS MINI V4 -I could not connect to wifi, problem was the kind of encryption set on my router !!!

Hi there !

Probably this could be added to the official manual as far as the ATS MINI V4 is concerned ? I don´t own and know about the earlier versions and if this information could be helpful for this devices too ?

I tried following the official manual where is stated that the only Wi-Fi frequency mode for the device is 2.4GHz (no mention of the kind of encryption).

I was not able to connect the AMNVOLT ATS MINI V4 (Firmware V2.33) to my wifi (old Fritzbox 7390 router). Tried it many times to no avail - all other devices like my smartphone worked very well as usual. I found out the kind of encryption set on my router was the problem. Since i don´t use wifi very often (most of the time it is disabled) i had set many years ago an old school encryption: i had set "WPA (TKIP)" encryption ! After changing it to "WPA + WPA2" encryption the AMNVOLT ATS MINI V4 (Firmware V2.33) connected without any problems and i was able to sync time and to download the EiBi schedule etc.
