Hi @urmeldaehn,

This happens because EIM updated the JSON file version, and we currently have a strict version check.
For now, please use the following workaround:

change the version field to 1.0 in the eim_idf.json file (by default located at C:\Espressif\tools).
This change is only needed during ESP-IDF activation in the ESP-IDF Manager. After activation, you can revert the version field back to 2.0 if needed.
