[Bug Report] Issue with ESP-IDF Installation (EIM-834)

Description

Please describe the issue you encountered: Won't get passed the install prerequist screen. Won't install with or with out git and python installed.

from the logs it looks like the git is missing on your system and the installer sadly fails to install it and add it to path. Can you please check what powershell verison do you have on your system?

Thanks for your response. I ended up installing esp-idf-v5.3.1 using the downloaded stand-alone installer. This worked well.
