How to get status of AVR - command like PW?

When I inject PW? in a string to denon-out node where I can get the result? .. tried to put denon-in and debug but nothing happened

Install current node from branch fixcallback : https://github.com/estbeetoo/node-red-contrib-denon/tree/fixcallback.

Try to form new msg Javascript with Function node so that cb field will contain callback function:

return {
    payload: 'PW?',
    cb: function(err, response) {
              node.log(response);
          }
  }

I still can't get this thing to return any info properly.

Is it possible to see the response (of a PW? or MV? request) at the output of the denon-in node in order to use that response?

It seems that the denon-in node is currently useless... Isn't it?

I can see the responses in the debug section of Node-Red but it's untreatable, and has nothing to do here because it don't correspond to an error...

@lucasCFO @clsferguson I have no device currently to test the feature. Could i test it with your device, if you’ll port forward AVR’s port for me with ngrok, for example.

hello Aborovsky, I just have bought a Denon Ceol n10 and I am testing to control it with Node-Red.

The Denon-Out is working great.

So for the Denon-In I can help :) I am not able to let you on my Denon :( but i can test / check for you if that is possible.
