Issue: Dashboard crash on data file creation

When using the data dashboard, on the creation of a new data file, the dashboard crashes and displays the following error:

Sorry, something went wrong.

Please close the dashboard and try again.

To Reproduce:

1. Go to 'Data'
2. Click on 'Select data folder'
3. Select any option
4. Enter name for new file
5. Click enter
