VX6 Trademark Policy

This document describes allowed and restricted use of the "VX6" name and related branding.

1. Ownership

"VX6" and associated logos, marks, and branding assets are project marks controlled by the project owner/licensor.

2. Allowed Use

You may use the name "VX6" for factual, descriptive references, including:

  • stating compatibility, such as "built on VX6" or "compatible with VX6";
  • identifying that your software includes or integrates VX6;
  • referring to the upstream project in documentation, blogs, or technical materials.

3. Restricted Use

Without prior written permission, you may not:

  • use "VX6" or confusingly similar marks in your product, company, or service name;
  • use VX6 branding in a way that implies sponsorship, endorsement, certification, or official partnership;
  • use project logos/marks as your primary brand identity for commercial offerings.

4. Apache-2.0 Consistency

This policy is intended to be consistent with Apache-2.0 Section 6 (Trademarks) and does not expand Apache license rights.
